Welcome

Established in 1884, we are the 4th generation to live here. Located Jasper County Iowa, 8 miles Northwest of Newton or 3 miles south of Baxter.  Our timber pastures, hay and crop ground make up the farm operations.  We fall calve our herd on grass and the bulls grow up in lots adjacent to the farmstead.  At breeding, we synchronize the females and artificially inseminate using industry proven bulls.  Pasture cleanup bulls are then used for 60 days.  Replacement females are homegrown and retained.  We encourage you to visit and have a look!
